MENTAL-IMAGERY
BASED  STRESS-MANAGEMENT  (MiBSM)

THE  MiBSM  APPROACH :

Mental-imagery Based Stress Management (MiBSM) is an  alternative and practical approach to Mindfulness based on Chabad Kabbalah Philosophy in which a moment-by-moment awareness is achieved by becoming aware (mindful) of a force of creation that is propelling the world into existence at each and every moment.

Instead of using Mindfulness-breathing techniques and meditation, Mental-imagery Based Stress Management (MiBSM) uses guided mental imagery which, based on our experience, has shown to be an easier, more direct way to achieve a moment-by-moment awareness that results in decreased levels of stress, worry and anxiety in a shorter span of time.

What's more, since Mental-imagery Based Stress Management (MiBSM) is based on guided mental imagery, transitioning between learning the technique and being able to teach others
can be done with in 4-6 weeks.

Instead of spending hours trying to master various meditation techniques, the mental imagery of Mental-imagery Based Stress Management (MiBSM) is based on a script that, when read aloud, automatically creates the desired visualizations.   Therefore, as soon as a person learns how to read the script in a way that successfully guides people through its mental imagery, a person can already start to teach.

In addition to the usual benefits of Mindfulness, MiBSM is a way for people to:

  • Foster positive attitudes that lead to more positive outcomes
  • Achieve greater levels of productivity
  • Experience everyday actions as the mindful ideal
